MediVault NOT what they say it is!!!

I was sold the MediVault offering a few weeks ago. When I was speaking to the consultant he said I would only have one debit order going forward, which would be of the MediVault and would no longer be debited for the normal medical aid. And that I would be charged based on my usage on a monthly basis. It has since turned out that this is an additional cost over and above the normal medical aid cost; of which I cannot afford and would not have taken this thing had the right information been given to me.

When I saw this first additional debit order I enquired with FedHealth and was told then that it is an additional cost over and above the normal medical aid fee. I asked them to cancel this thing and reverse my money because I dont want it and cant afford it, especially because I was sold on the wrong information from their consultant. I was told they cant reverse the amount I had used up already but would escalate the matter. I said its fine they can keep the funds for what I have used up but want a refund for what I havent used up, and for them to cancel.

Days later I received communication saying that the cooling off period has passed and therefore cant reverse the money. Now I am angry because I am now suffering for the wrong information that was given by their consultant AND they have NOT cancelled this thing. This month again a debit order went off my account.

I have had to ask my Bank to reverse it.

This is utter nonsense!!!
