Medical aid cover

<p>I have app**** for a new medical aid application on the 25th January to fed health. I have been waiting 4 weeks for the application to go through and I keep getting more requests. The latest was a letter stating my son was not on treatment for the last 12 months for a condition he had. This is received a week before I needed cover to start. Letters from doctors take time and I should have been better informed on the process. Each application step takes very long. Now waiting for the letter and due to the slowness of fedhealth in advising what info I would need I'm sitting now without medical aid after I cancelled my previous cover. Seriously wondering how they pay claims if they can't even get going with new applications. Unacceptable. </p>
