Life changing Event Option Plan is a **** from Fedhealth.

To say that I am disappointed is an understatement. I used Fedhealth for some years before I stopped it due to unaffordability. I went back to them hoping that they have kept the same service they had back then. Now I am shocked they only care about collecting contributions. They allow members to upgrade to a better option plan when a life changing event happens, but it seems that it’s a ****. On 19 December I found out that I was pregnant when I went to consult with my GP, I then realised that the plan I am on will not give me the benefits that I need. I then went on to utilise the option of changing the plan, I started communicating with the scheme beginning of January, and sent everything they by the 19 January 2024, because they give you 30 days to request the change of plan. To my surprise, they reply with an email saying that your request to change the plan has been declined, without stating any reasons why. As soon as I give birth, I am sure to leave this **** of a medical aid.
