I was very impressed by thr Fedhealth advertising and on boarding process. It was swift and they were kind. I pay in advance and I have something for emergency.

Over the months I made use of my day to day benefit no hassle.

Last Thursday I arrived back in Durban from a week long work trip. I picked my bags and headed to pick-up, and I heard a sound and sudden pain. I headed home and tried to macho it out.

3 days later, vomiting and ****ing issues I went to the ER. I had a CT scan, and a General Surgeon see me. I have an incarcerated hernia, 3 of them.

The doctor claims to have supp**** Fedhealth with all relevant motivation, yet they claim they are doing a non-disclosure investigation into this hernia.. It was an emergency, I never had a hernia before. I told the on boarding company WellWorx everything that was asked of me.

Its now 7 days since the instance, I am off work at the end of my sick leave, I have paid my medaid up until November, yet Fedhealth refuse to look at the emergency I am - which by your standard of advertising and communication is the specialty of the fund I am with.

How is it possible to have to pay a large sum of money every month, just to have peace of mind, or rather.. Peace of mind that maybe, just maybe Fedhealth would save my life like intended.

Pathetic money grab!
