HSG post Ablation / Sterilization

I had the Esure system and Ablation done in December, despite getting the Authorization for the procedure, FH did not cover the full amount and refused to tell me how much I was approved for. When I got the bill, I needed to pay in R10 500. On my check-up on 18 Dec, Gynae told me I needed to go for an HSG X-ray due to complications and it looked like I had a blocked right tube. Due to swelling, I could only go end Jan. Since this was longer than 30 days Post Op, FH aren't interested. They are refusing to pay for me to have this procedure as they see it as a Fertilization procedure. I now do not know if the procedure was a success or not and now stand the chance of falling pregnant at the age of 40 PLUS then due to the Ablation done, will most likely have a miscarriage (again) and that is a trauma I never want to go through. <br> <br> I cannot believe the attitude of some of their staff and the fact that they are refusing to help me. To them, clearly paying for an emergency procedure of a miscarriage is better than paying for a R3 500 X-ray, which I do not have the money for as I had to take out a loan to cover their shortfall that they refused to pay for.<br> <br> SHAME ON YOU
