Hospital plan that doesn't work = ****

<p>Keeping it short. Suffering with sleep apnea and heart problems due to chronic tonsilitis. My tonsils need to come out. I can fall asleep driving, my breathing is not correct. I could have a stroke or something and this will be on Fedhealth. </p> <p> </p> <p>Went to a network hospital, Wilgeheuwel only to find that the doctor i went to is out of network. I payed R845,00 for him as i am on the hospital plan which i pay R1175,00PM for. Then i asked for an in network doctor in that hospital and there is none. </p> <p> </p> <p>They send me a list of ENT Doctors that are network in Gauteng. Phone the first one, Jankeke in Mulbarton hospital... She has retired. Phone the second one Henkel, book an appointment only to realize its not a network hospital. I cancelled the appointment. Phone Dr Swart, also network doctor, but not a network hospital. Okay so let me find out from the short list of ENT's who is in a network hospital and is also a network doctor. Dr Smit is, in the Louis Pasteur hospital. book an appointment, but then they tell me they do not operate in the louis pasteur building but only do consultations there. They operate in an out of network hospital. Im tired now and my health is bad and it seems that there is no network hospital and ENT in one. Seems like a **** to me and i pay all this money for nothing.</p> <p> </p> <p>I have been looking for 2 days now for a network hospital + a network ENT to do the operation and cannot find. I am still looking, but the list is getting smaller, nevermind the fact that i have to travel as none of these hospitals are in my area. </p>
