HORRIBLE SERVICE ONCE AGAIN!

After months of fighting and legal assistance i got an ex gracia approval for 8 months for my son who has a rare and very serious JIA Disorder. He needs medication on a permanent basis and they only give me 8 months. First told me to upgrade but not even their highest option covers it.

Now that i have this because my son needs his medication URGENTLY to help ease his suffering, they nominated one single chemist who i can get it from. this chemist does not have experience and for the approval from may which i only got on 11.06.2021 i now am battling AGAIN to get it for him.

The attached ex-gratia approval lists Park Pharmacy, practice number ***, as the dispensing pharmacy for Amgevita. Please note that Park Pharmacy appears to have no experience in dispensing this type of medication, has repeatedly spoken of stock outages where none exist, has not responded to urgent pleas to dispense, and now won’t take calls on the matter. Your member Bianca Brand has been waiting for the better part of two weeks now.

There are multiple established routes for dispensing biologic medications. There was no need for Fedhealth to appoint a single private pharmacy with no prior experience. we have sent them this email but they dont even respond to me, when i call i get a rude: we cant change this"

Please urgently load a pharmacy like Scriptwise or similar to ensure this child gets the medication he has already waited so long for.

I am so sick of this medical aid not wiling to assist a suffering and now depressed teenanger because he does not want to live anymore being in excrutiating pain 24/7
