Got approved for an Operation. was notified of a once off Co-payment but still received a bill from the hospital for payments not made that was approved for by Fedhealth
I was approved for an operation on the 28th of February'24 at Greenacres hospital Eastern Cape.
I received a Statement for money I owe the hospital. I was approved for this operation, and I paid my co-payment. Why do I still need to pay if Fedhealth approved my operation.
What is the point having a medical aid if it approves my application and still does not pay everything I was approved for? I was only notified about the Co-payment of R7 540 that I had to pay in.

29 Apr 2024, 07:23Still no reply? I would like to cancel my membership with Fedhealth please. Paying R3000 per month for only myself. Approved for a procedure just to receive a bill from the hospital of everything Fedhealth did not pay....and this after all the codes was send through and approved!

30 May 2024, 13:45This issue is still not sorted out. Just received an account from the hospital of more than R10 000 not paid by my medical aid. while my procedure was approved by die medical aid. I only had to pay a R7500 co-payment which I have.
