FORGET about help

My husband and I were looking into joining fedhealth medical scheme a few months ago i phoned them and they confirmed that there will be no late joining penalties as long as I can provide prove that we have been members on a medical aid at least 9 years since we are over 35. A few months down the line (not more than 5 months) we put the ball rolling but my husband did the call work this time. They wanted prove of medical aid for 13 years now. While he have been member of medical aid ever since age 22 at least with only a break of no more than 5 years in his thirties they wanted to load his fee with 25 %!!!! We can prove membership to medihelp and discovery but Fedhealth to which we belonged earlier in our marriage and also Cape medical aid cannot provide us with prove any more because hey \dont keep records that long"!!!! Now we are being penalised but they told me that there would not be penalties if i provide them with the previous two medical aids membership certificates!!!! Despite that is it our fault if the funds we belonged to did not keep records???? Fedhealth change their stories as it suite them it seems. And i dare them to go and listen to the recorded msges. """
