Fedhealth - There is no such thing as an emergency

I am so dissapointed with Fedhealth.

I was admitted to an ICU ward in September after complications from surgery which I had paid for because it was not part of my cover. So costs which were subsequently claimed for where just from my emergency admission onwards.

The emergency hospital admition to an ICU ward was rejected because it related to a condtion they say formed part of the waiting period. I understand waiting periods, what does not make sense is when an admission is an emergency - Should a patient die? Why don't the provisions for an emergency like with any other medical aid kick in?

I am very confused and unhappy that this company has such lack of compassion but ha the nerve to debit my bank account every month.
