Fedhealth ripped me off

This is the worst medical aid I have ever encountered in my life.

I joined it January 2018 with the intention of covering myself and husband. Were pretty healthy so we decided to take the Maxima Saver option . In March we discovered we are pregnant and went to a gynae to confirm it and it was confirmed. I tried to upgrade the medical after we discovered that the daily savings would be depleted before the baby is born because of the doctors visits. This medical aid refused stating that we should have changed within 30 days of discovering we were pregnant. Mind you I had spent weeks trying to upgrade and spent alot in airtime calling their call center and all to n o avail. I eventually gave up on the matter and covered the doctors visits myself and figured atleast they will cover the hospital bill for my birth. I was booked for a natural birth but due to complications as a result of failed induction, I had to have emergency section. The medical aid wouldn't cover it and after over 10 phone calls to them and two months post my birth they eventually covered most of the costs with the exception of the gynae and anesthetist sighting they were not in their network of practitioners. The gynae I was aware of but because I planned for a natural birth, I did not arrange for an anesthetist in their network. I was literally in labour so I don't know how the medical aid could expect me to search for a network practioner during an EMERGENCY C SECTION. Fedhealth couldn't care less however. So suffice to say they did not pay for approximately R10,000 in medical bills.

To make matters worse, I got so fed up I wanted to quit the medical aid. They told me I could not and I needed to give them one month notice period which I did give. But they still deducted a whole extra month. I reversed the debit order but they still keep deducting and yet they deducted for the extra one month that they wanted this notice for.
