FEDHEALTH NOT WILLING TO ASSIST REGARDS TO FINANCIAL RELIEF DURING LOCKDOWN

my membership number: ***. Due to the lockdowns I did not receive a income. Fedhealth did not offer financial relief. Now my membership will be terminated. I did ask if there was any plan to help but it seems fedhealth does not understand. On 23 July I read on News 24 that FEDHEALTH DID APPLY FOR financial help to assist members BUT they are one of many medical aids that app**** for exemptions with the CMS and can offer members financial relief, according to CMS. The CMS did set up an exemption processthat would allow medical aids to waive contributions and make other arrangements with members who have fallen on hard times. They are also saying: schemes that have app**** and reduce the contributions stressed members are due to pay for three months , defer those contributions entirely for 3 months , or allow for contributions to be paid by way of medical savings account. When I did an enquiry at Fedhealth about this matter they said they did not receive any approval of council. Now I will take this matter further and I can send you the proof of the news paper report.
