FEDHEALTH MEDICAL SCHEME - WORST EVER! DO NOT JOIN

This is the worst medical scheme i have ever been on. I had an emergency with extremely painful kidneys and my husband rushed me through to the ER department at Union hospital. The dr at casualty called the neurologist on call and he advised that i go for a CT scan just to check if its not maybe kidney stones. I have had stones before but that was plus minus 6 years ago. Now i am receiving accounts from the radiology department and from the casualty drs and the Union hospital stating that i need to pay out of my own pocket!!!!! Fedhealth medical scheme just refuses to pay. 2nd incident was that my 6yo daughter fell at school and hurt her arm. She had to go for xrays and a half arm cast had to be put on. The medical aid gave us a reference number when we have phoned for auth. Yes we have to phone for auth ourselves. We though everything was going to be paid for but to my surprise we have received another account from the xrays department at Clinton hospital an account from Clinton Hospital. No we pay over R4200 per month for this medical scheme. Why????? If i have to pay hospitals and Drs bills in the amount of R4559.61?! This is totally disgusting. I would not recommend this medical scheme to anybody. Membership number ***
