Fedhealth medical scheme has taken me for a ride

Due to Covid and the effects it had on everyone, I had to change my medical aid to fedhealth because they were affordable. I never used the medical aid until when I had an emergency in Thabazimbi on April 26 @11:45pm and to my surprise after the medical aid gave Authorization they have not paid the hospital and say I need to pay myself. I asked for clarification and no valid clarification was provided except that they kept on referring to Copayments which were never discussed when I took the medical aid. We did some research and found that the medical aid mostly cater for Cpt and northern cape hospitals and I stay in Johannesburg. So this medical aid actual took me a ride while I was using my savings during this pandemic and I am now stuck with a hospital bill I cannot afford to pay.

So I actually sacrificed to have a medical aid that can't even help me when I need help after paying them in full every month.

I am really not happy.
