Fedhealth medical scheme are ruthless and *******s

We joined my mom on the medical aid scheme from 1st September 2017 and she had a 3 month waiting period and benefit date would be the 1st December 2017. In the interim my mom was diagnosed with lung cancer and we had to take her to a government hospital in Ermelo 285kms from Johannesburg where we live because they blatantly refused to cover her for treatment even though this was a life threatening condition threatening condition. My mom passed away just over a month ago so we sent the death certificate to Fedhealth to cancel the cover and was told that we would have to pay for the next month also even though my mom would never make use if the medical aid ad she is deceased. Imagine my frustration and disgust when my account was debited for 2 months October and November. I am totally disgusted in Fedhealth, they have no regard for human life and do not care about their members. I am still grieving my Moms death and am now R9700.00 out of pocket because if their greed. I have no words I am so disgusted in the way they handled my Moms illness and also the lack of emotion they have for their members. They are only out there to rip people off and make as much money as they can and don’t care who they hurt in the process.
