FEDHEALTH MEDICAL SCHEME

Fedhealth is the worst medical aid out there. I was diagnosed with a melanoma in November 2019 and the specialists needed to do a flap biopsy in December 2019 to ascertain as to how far the cancer has spread. Fedhealth has not given the authorisation for the procedure as they need to obtain my husband's medical history before they will make a decision????. This is ridiculous. I feel that they are deciding whether I live or die. Today they advise me that they see I visited my GP in 2018 and only again in 2019 - why so long between visits they want to know. So now I am being penalized for not going to the Dr on a regular basis. This is totally unacceptable and I will most definitely not refer them to anyone else.
