Fedhealth medica scheme I'm beyond disgusted. 81

My GP referred me for scans n ultrasound because I have been suffering from Sciatica,I did that but the pain was so intolerable that I had to go to casualty, then the doctor that saw me drew the previous scans and find out that my spinal cord was not aligned one of the vertebrae was almost completely out that was causing me being unable to walk as in excruciating pain that was the first time I even know that. Then I was admitted fast forward the neurologist who was assigned sent clinical diagnosis as well as the motivation to the scheme then it was declined. My daughter then called the scheme as you know all calls are recorded the advice was if we upgrade to a higher option it can be allowed due to the critical nature of it then I was sent the new application forms wich I filled them was asked to wrire a motivation email confirming that I didn't know prior admission my condition, when she asked should they take me out of of hospital they said no because I might reinjure myself .Between then and the final day when I recieved an email again that was declided again, I have been calling until my battery goes off and recharged my phone I dont know how many times just to find out how far are they with the case,you speak to this one get referred to multiple people starts all over again explaining one thing to different departments still far from getting help you need. I remember at one stage tears were were pouring down my face and feeling frustrated and helpless. Not only calling, on their members WhatsApp line as well but no luck as well. You were asked to remain in hospital from the 4th July till the 20th. And you being discharged from hospital the same way you entered the hospital,not being able to walk,still in pain as you came in the only thing the doctors can do for you is to give pain medication. My question is why are we paying medical aids,is it to be taken for granted when you are in the helpless situations and unforeseen circumstances, laying there helpless at their mercy when the only thing they care about is the premiums you pay ,who even care how my state of mind was and still is I'm beyond angry its like they said to me go get cripple out there we don't care. Then the question is if I was involved in an accident taken through emergency presented the same condition were they also not going to be able to let the procedure being done,I wonder. To say the least I wish people that have their medical schemes they should start scrutinizing their papers on what they covered for, otherwise you will find yourselves begging for mercy , with the monies that you hardly have to think you are covered.
