Fedhealth is misleading their clients

Hi Guys,

Fedhealth is misleading their clients. My girlfriend and I spoke to a consultant (Nadeem) to take out a medical aid policy. We asked him if my girlfriend would be covered since she is already pregnant and he said yes but their is a 6 month waiting period. My GF was 3 months pregnant at the time, so in my mind they would cover the birth as 6 months would have passed. I made a decision based on the advice given to me by the consultant and now i am being told that the birth is not covered, and that there is actually a 12 month waiting period. Furthermore when i asked for the recordings to be sent to me they say that I have to go into the branch to access the recordings! What kind of organization requires clients to travel from their homes to get a recording that can be sent electronically?? Not to mention that we as clients are entitled to these recordings by law and should be told up front that we would need to travel to the branch to access the recordings. I'm really annoyed and in a difficult position now because of these costs that are not covered. I would not have wasted my money on Fedhealth had i known that the costs for my GF's birth were not covered in the first place. I would like to hear my recordings and i want them sent to me electronically ASAP!! If i have been misled i am going to the FSCA and Fedhealth is going to be held liable for the costs they said they would cover at sales stage. I am writing this review on behalf of my girlfriend who is the policy holder, I've listed her ID number (I am paying for the policy).
