Fedhealth gone from fair to worst Medical Aid within months

I have been with fedhealth on maxima standard elect (before Maxima standard net) for a few years now. Last year they covered hospitals close to me like Netcare Blaauwberg, this year they expect me to use Melomed Bellville/Mitchells Plain or wait for it... Ceres hospital!! Why on earth would I want to use any of those hospitals, Melomed doesn't even have a quarter of the specialists we need. I am at my wits end! It took me 8months to fill a R16k self payment gap, now that I am in my so called Threshold benefit (where last year they used to still cover prescription meds and other services upto 80%) they cover NOTHING! I have spent so much on medication for my sons chronic condition and all the gp visit prescribed meds that I might as well look into a different medical aid. Your service is the worst I have ever had yet your contributions are steep as hell for the amount of benefits I get at the moment. I am on chronic medication, which I was told today that my chronic benefit is depleted and they wont cover my chronic meds. Are you for real Fedhealth?? How much more do you want my family to suffer financially? I have paid optical and numerous specialists, medications and much needed services out of my own pocket. What have you paid? GP visits, that is it! Will be switching asap.
