Fedhealth dodges and dismisses

I had surgery on my hand to repair a tendon after an accident with a knife. This surgery dovetails with crucial occupational therapy. The surgery was necessary to prevent permanent disability but would be futile without the accompanying occupational therapy. My surgeon made this clear to Fedhealth. You can’t have the surgery without occupational therapy. It’s a well known entity among all surgeons and occupational the******s. To date, according to everyone involved, I remain the only patient not covered for the occupational therapy which was never an option but only ever a necessity if I ever wanted the use of my hand back. I think it’s disgusting how Fedhealth, dodges these payments. I’ve been a member for years and have claimed very little from them. They are uncaring and dismissive. To make things worse, I’ve reached my self payment gap four weeks ago and they are still pretending that I haven’t!! Countless emails, entreatments, motivations etc. has led to nothing. They are declining claims and stating that I haven’t exceeded the gap and thus giving me the runaround while I’m tortured by the fact that I might be crippled for life. They are an awful and uncaring company that will lie and do whatever it takes not to pay claims. This of course is *******. Refusing to pay claims after a self payment gap was reached. I will refer this to the medical aid governing body. When you need these people the most, this is what they do. Awful awful awful company
