Fedhealth = ****************

I have been a member with Fedhealth for 3 years. I havent made any real claims and the only "Big" claim I made was for about R8k in November of 2018.

I am paying approximately 2.2k for myself as the only member. Recently all my claims irrespective of how small go rejected. Gp visits, medication, everything go rejected with a message that my savings have been used up. I also go into an accident and they rejected to carry any of the costs.

When I got out of Hospital I contacted them and they informed me that my medi vault is not activated. Firstly *** is a medi vault as I have never been informed about this and secondly why do I have to activate my own savings. I was told that fedhealth removed the savings from all their schemes and now offer members a medi vault. The cath is if you use your medi vault you have to pay the funds you use back to fedhealth. So your premium stays the same but you no longer get savings and oh if you use your medi vault for day to day use you have to pay us back. Why the hell do I them pay a contribution.

Apart from the above, after they changed their schemes, The scheme I pay for (About 2.2k) they advertise on their site now for R1600.00. SO why in the first place am I paying 2.2k for a product worth 1.6k

The call centre agent when I cancelled my membership was unapologetic and when I told her Fedhealth has ****** me over the past 3 years she even agreed with me. I mean they are not even hiding it!

They also made no attempt to keep me on as a member
