Fedhealth adverts are misleading and give out false information

I have been a member of Fedhealth for a few months and pay quite a large amount every month. You brag about private in-hospital cover, but when I needed approval for surgery I really need - based on a qualified Dr's recommendation - I was told I had a co-payment of R14700 as it was not an approved hospital. When I requested a list of approved hospitals to my absolute horror they were all GOVERNMENT hospitals and none no where near me either!! When I queried this I was not given a decent answer. If I want to upgrade now, I either need to fall pregnant or get married!!!!! I am appalled that you take such an exorbitant fee from me every single month but expect me to go to a government hospital - which is free - to have the much needed surgery!! Your website and brochures give out false information and are very misleading. Neither do the sales consultants divulge that the hospitals are in fact NOT private as stated!!!!
