False Promises & Complete Misleading

Terrible and a waste of my Money & Time.

When contact by Sales Rep Anton Singh I was convicended to Terminate my current medical aid at the time and join up with Fedhealth.

We as clients are not made aware of the full understanding of the product being sold to us or promised to us.

My understanding of the cover (Maxima Entrysaver) was/is that I would have Unlimited GP Visits for the Year as long as it’s to a Network Doctor – when visiting the GP for the first time since being on Fedhealth I was surprised to see the claim went through on my Day To Day benefits which only R264 per month is paid from my banking account to Fedhealth (why would anyone want to use up their Medical Savings for GP visits when they have “Free” GP Visits for the Year as long as it’s to a Network Doctor?).

Now that I require medication for the Flu I am unable to obtain medication as my Medical Savings is depleted. How on earth does it make sense to be able to visit a GP but not able to obtain medication for the visit…

I have since requested Termination (05 April 2017) – however the Termination letter in my name is dated until 31 May 2017 (Which is not a month’s termination, last payment to be debited from my account is 02 May 2017 for the April 2017 membership) and my Husbands terminations is dated 30 April 2017.

I am not happy and feel as if I have been taken for a fool. I feel as if our health is no longer a priority to the Medical Aid industry but rather a way to make money.
