FALSE INFORMATION-NO CUSTOMER SERVICE

I am a fedhealth member. Found out I was pregnant in March. Searched for a network doctor at a network hospital. None near my area. Searched for network doctor at private hospital -the 3 listed, one is a fertility specialist, one is not network, and one does not exist. I contacted ONLY network hospital remotely near me and was told NOT ONE gynaecologist was on network and all pvt rates. Was advised to make written application for upgrade due to a life changing event. After 3 months I received response-application was denied. Received list of Gynaecologists at network hospitals in JHB- an hour away. I have placenta previa- need nearby hospital. Refused upgrade, with NO SOLUTION. I am a single mother. I was given NO reason on my mail as to why my application was declined (pregnancy is listed as a reason for an option change but it states that plan changes need to be made within a month of the life changing event. It took 6 weeks to apply because I waited for a response from F/H for a VALID provider. Had no intention of upgrading until I was forced to. There ARE NO NETWORK providers near me. Find me a Network Doctor at a Network hospital in my area, upgrade me, or deal with the ombud
