DONT GIVE A DAMN ABOUT THEIR MEMBERS TO TRY TO ASSIST TO RESOLVE ISSUES. EMPTY PROMISES AND DONT LIVE UP TO THEIR MOTTO

Fedhealth says - Affordable Medical Aid for the people - Lies,dont believe them. I was paying R3.5K per month for my medical aid. I had accounts from September last year which was not paid - got handed over to the lawyers for payment of accounts. The fun part is that the accounts are submitted directly to the Medical Aid and i dont get a copy. I have paid these accounts and sent proof of payment to the Medical Aid and they said they would resolve and refund me - still waiting. I received my statement last week and checked and there are once again shortfalls on the accounts from Medical Practioners.

I emailed Fedhealth to help me to resolve - their answer IT IS YOUR PROBLEM AND YOU NEED TO MAKE ARRANGEMENTS TO PAY THIS OFF.

I am not sure which part of i am unemployed they dont understand.

So please do yourselves a favour and find another medical aid and DONT JOIN FEDHEALTH.

So now i must come up with R14,700.00 shortfalls that were not paid. I have been with Fedhealth for years and am only just been using the Medical Aid for the past 2 years as i was diagnosed as a chronic patient with lung disease, neuphrotic Kidney disease, asthma and other ailments- so what happened to the other years when i did not use the Medical Aid - then it was fine just taking my monthly membership fees for jam?
