Disappointing service

Fedhealth medical scheme is pathetic. They say that PMBs is coverd and when a treatment plan is opened that all treatments that goes with the pmb will be coverd.

We were told that we need to get our GP to write a motivation for the treatment that is needed. In our case 2 eeg's per year at the very least is needed. This needs to be done by an pediatric neurologist. Even though we got the motivation from our GP the treatment plan was loaded with 2 specialist gp visits per year.

Our sons condition is infantile spasms which is a form of epilepsy. Hence the pediatric neurologist visits. Yet fedhealth cannot seem to understand this.

Perhaps you should consult with actual doctors about this conditions then you wil understand better why we need what we need.
