DAYLIGHT ******* OF A RESPONSIBLE AND FAITHFUL MEMBER BY FEDHEALTH

In 2017 I switched from my previous medical aid to @Fedhealth. I had savings of about R6000 carried over to fedhealth. By 2022 those savings had reached R10 000 (this was also confirmed by one fedhealth's call agent in 2023. My child was admitted for an elective operation at Legae Mediclinic on 6 December 2022. She was discharged after a day or two. Early 2023, I discovered that my savings were reduced by about R6000. I called fedhealth to enquired, they said I must go to the hospital since there was an error with the authorisation number. I went to the hospital and explained the issue. The hospital said everything is in order on their side and were shocked at the fact that the medical aid sent me to the hospital when it was the responsibility of the medical aid to resolve the issue. I reverted back to fedhealth with this report, i was sent from pillar to post, be it authorisation department and the likes. In one of the many calls I made to fedhealth, one of the call agents highlighted that the R6000 was paid to the doctors but erroneously claimed from the savings instead of hospital funds9child was admitted). 2023 to date, I have been calling fedhealth to payback the savings they are refusing. Yesterday when I called, I was told they will not pay the money since the case has prescribed. Now i need to use my savings but I cannot because fedhealth stole them.
