Complaint Regarding Membership and Contribution Arrears
I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding the way my membership and arrears contributions have been handled by your department. The lack of communication and resolution has caused unnecessary frustration and distress.
To provide context:
Lack of Follow-Up Communication:
I called last month and was promised that someone from the accounts department would contact me to arrange a payment plan. Unfortunately, this did not happen.
Despite my efforts to address the issue, no one has acknowledged or responded adequately to my requests for assistance.
Threat of Membership Cancellation and Reversed Claims:
I was recently informed that my membership might be canceled, and all claims reversed if I do not settle the arrears. This approach feels punitive, especially given the absence of prior meaningful engagement from your side.
Payment Proposal Ignored:
I had suggested dividing the arrears into three equal parts and paying them over three months alongside my regular contributions. I also provided proof of payment for the first installment.
However, your response did not address this proposal or acknowledge my efforts to resolve the situation.
Unclear and Inadequate Responses:
The response to my email (***) simply reiterated information from a previous communication (***), which was unhelpful and did not address my concerns.
The apology offered in your email did little to alleviate the situation, as no tangible actions were taken to resolve the issue.
Given these points, I find the service provided by Fedhealth to be highly unsatisfactory. I had expected a collaborative approach to resolving this matter, including clear communication and flexibility in addressing arrears payments.
To move forward, I propose the following:
I will make the full requested payment by the 23rd of this month as a gesture of good faith.
I request a direct discussion with someone from the accounts department to finalize a manageable payment plan for any remaining balance.
Fedhealth should implement better communication protocols, including:
Multiple follow-up calls if initial attempts to contact a member are unsuccessful.
Sending detailed emails outlining payment options and consequences if no resolution is reached.
I urge you to address this matter promptly and ensure that members like myself are treated with fairness and respect. Please confirm receipt of this complaint and provide a resolution timeline.
