Complaint - MRI Declined Due to Membership Tenure

I was scheduled for a MRI. No one gets scheduled for a MRI because doctors think it’s fun. When it gets to that point, there’s something troubling you health wise which the doctors are concerned about. As an individual you have peace of mind because you have medical aid which you pay monthly and what you pay is not small change. Imagine my shock when I was informed that my medical aid declined to authorize the MRI!!! The reason, I’ve been with them less than a year!! I’m so sorry that my health didn’t wait a year before it became an issue!!! So appalling!!
