Chronic Customer Service - shocking.

I just called FedHealth and after the woman on the phone was rude to me from the start, eventually she would just not answer me - I asked her to answer my question. I had asked for her name and she was refusing to say anything at all, let alone her name. It sounded like Pat or something but when they answer the call the callers all say everything so fast I always have to ask for it again. I want the medical aid to speak to the people who handle CHRONIC medication queries and listen to that telephone call.

I registered 2 chronic conditions years ago and I found out last week that these haven't been 'carried through' and were 'lost in the system'. I IMMEDIATELY went to my GP and she registered them with the medical aid while I sat there. I have hemophilia. I was told by the rude woman on the phone that I must go to get blood tests to PROVE that I have this disease. How can they deny a disease - either you have it or you dont. She said something about medication not being prescribed so its different, and also if you dont 'use' your chronic condition for 6 months it becomes DORMANT. I was born with this disease and I will die with this disease. It is hereditary and my mon and one brother have it (Von Willebrands Disease, which comes under hemophilia).

Now, because the medical aid didnt carry through my chronic conditions correctly, I must make a second trip to the GP, this time to get blood tests so that I can prove to FedHealth that I have this disease - flipping kidding me!? If you - Fedhealth - had carried the information through correctly, then it would be fine. This is not my problem. I have a disease that you CAN register under chronic and you refused until I provide proof!?!?!? I have the original documents from 2004 which show I registered for these 2 conditions. Now Im not - which is an error on their side - but I need to go spend more money and time and effort to fix their mistake.
