Cancellation of Membership

I took medical aid with Fedhealth Medical Aid on the 26th of August 2021, today i phoned and canceled, bare in mind dat i havent used any of their services i am cancelling within 15 days, they said i must give them a calender month notice meaning Sept will not count they will start counting from the 1st of October, this coming monthend they will deduct 1397 into my account and again monthend Oct I asked this guys what am i paying for? I havent used their services, i am cancelling within 15 days, the only answer i got from him is am paying for de notice 😢😢, when i took de medical aid i was told i can cancel anytime, today they are telling me stories

i want to cancel this membership as i got a new job and the new company is offering me medical aid , i cannot continue with Fedhealth
