Cancel Cancel Cancel- No resolution to my claim even though its a PMB and by law it must be paid
The call after the complaint .....YOUR VISIT TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM WILL BE PAID FROM YOUR SAVINGS AS BEEN A DIABETIC WITH A LIFE THREATENING READING OF 3.9 AND A HIGHBLOOD PRESSURE READING OF 150/88 IS NOT CONSIDERED AN EMERGENCY...

23 Mar 2026, 11:32So my query has stil not been resolved but yet Fedhealth cleary states a visit to casualty for a PMB will be covered in full For all non PMB a co payment of R880 is payable..The chat room left me holding on for probably 20 minutes 🤔 I remained no 2 in the queue..
The very sad part is that my son sprained his foot over the weekend and I had to take him to a government hospital bcoz I didn't have peace of mind knowing that Fedhealth will pay the bill if I had to go to a private facility nearby..
I don't trust Fedhealth and that's a HUGE problem for me.
