BEWARE!!!!!!!!!

FEDHEALTH MEMBERS BEWARE!!!!!!!! I have had the worst experience AGAIN with them, this is the second time I have had to go onto Hello Peter because of Authorization numbers. Please.... when you have to go for any procedure in hospital and have to have post-op consults and therapy, Make sure you get Authorization numbers for: 1. Hospital 2. Doctor 3 Anaethetist 4. Physiotherapy OH and you mustn't forget the gown's, coffee and the trauma that they like putting you through!!! I had to have ligaments repaired on my left hand thumb, Mid May, after going onto Hello Peter I finally got an Authorization number the day before the op. I then had to go and have dressings change at the wound clinic that was closed because of COVID lockdown at the hospital so the procedure was done at the doctors rooms. "Post-Op". I went to get the stitches check etc and left, no questions asked. In Mid July I had to go back for a check up and to book for the removal of the pin and manipulation on the thumb, I got Authorization and we were good to go, went for check up and got the go ahead from the doctor to start physiotherapy. It has be a long and painful time but you persevere. I then get the physio bill and have already queried the Doctors bill that have not been paid. I got a motivational letter from the Physiothe****** emailed it through, on the 9/9/2021. Response "noreply" email, thank you your query is being attended to!!!! TODAY I phone again after no response just to be told that the claim has been rejected as I NEVER GOT AUTHORISATION for these post-op procedures and they are over 30 DAYS so sorry for me I can get stuffed it's too late!!!! I am Left Handed and do physical work everyday where strength and mobility is needed, they might as well cut my thumb off as I have not been able to work and with no income I now have bills to pay as our savings has been depleted, when I get sued for not being able to pay my bills, guess what FEDHEALTH, you will be getting them for loss of earnings and the trauma you have and are still putting me through!!!! SHAME ON YOU AND THE PEOPLE WHO ARE PLAYING GOD IN THE AUTHORIZATIONS DEPT!!!!! SO ONCE AGAIN MEMBERS, BE CAREFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!
