Bad experience

I am a member of Fedhealth medical aid. I joint the medical aid because my 8 year old son is very sickly. My son has problems with his stomach as well as his immune system. Because of his stomach problems my son is on TPN (Total parental nutrition this is a way of feeding him through his veins);this treatment works really well for my son. We app**** for this treatment to be done at home. Everything that the medical aid asked for was sent through on the 30 of August 2017. Bear in mind when this was sent my son was in hospital on tpn. After calling the medical aid everyday i would call as well as the doctor our request was denied by the medical aid. They sent me a message to say that our request was denied with NO reason why it was denied. My son is dependent on this treatment he has been for a long time. You would think they would be willing to help but they just said no. My son is 8 years old and is not able to keep anything down. He just vomits and has really bad diarrhoea. When his on tpn he is healthy and able to gain weight and be like a normal child his age. My medical aid doesnt seem to see it that way. My son was at home not able to do much because he was so weak. His now back in hospital because he was so weak. My medical aid doesnt seem to really care that my son needs this treatment. I have called everyday to find out what is going on and everyday it was a different story. My son is 8 years old be doesnt need to spend all his time in hospital when the treatment he needs can be done from home. They are not unfair and wrong for doing this it is not right.
