Bad bad service

I have been admitted to hospital on Monday. They did a mr on me and after doing the mr I was advised that I need to pay R3000 excess on the mr. Now after 4 days in hospital they also came and advised me that I need to pay another penalty of R1000 for the hospital. This is ridiculous. I do not have the money. Why am I paying every month for medical if this is what I have to pay extra. Where is my premiums going. I want this sorted out asap.
