auth

I was admitted to hospital 07/04/2015 for not being able to see , a condition which occored over the past three months which has just become worse.Once auth was needed for a MRI to be done the radiology centre was told we need to wait for 48 hours because the auth needed to be sent to the underwriters for investigation.i called again today 09.04.2015 (seeing that it has now been 48hours ) and i have now been told that i need to wait until next week tuesday 07.04.2015 because the underwriters are still dealing with queries from the 01.04.2015.I have read up and i see this isnt the first time this has happened . luckily i dicharged myself from hospital on the same day admitted because i first of all did not want to waste my time nor the medail aid funds.Another question is , what if i now had to have a accident or something had to happen , would i have to wait another 7 days in order to be checked out or diagnosed? <br> this is really pathetic and i am very annoyed , my husband kids and myself have been members of fedhealth for a few years and never had this problem , why now ?<br> if someone could please get back in contact with me , so i can see what i should do i would really appreciate
