Account submitted... WOW medical aid exclusions all the way.......

My daughter had a detethering of her spinal operation 24 August 2021, she had a set back and the wound needed extra care therefor they called in a surgeon as skin had to be removed and this is the plastic surgeons specialty. They do not want to pay him as this is an exclusion all of a sudden this is seen cosmetic... Yes sure i had ****s implanted in my 19 month old daughter this was essential for her. Then there is a narcotic account which was declined just like that, An account of medi clinic for almost 12 grand because I litterly begged them to waive the co payments it was not told to me prior to her operation and she needed this life changing surgery, nothing was done un nessacery. They just refuse to "waive the co payments... She was covered on my medical aid from the day she was born, so did i had to declare that my daughter would be born with a defect??? NO parent want to go through what i went through. So yes they leave me with all the accounts and the best is before surgery my daughter could walk and now she is semi paralyzed and needs to wear AFO's which i am also begging my medical aid to please consider paying as 1 is R6000 she needs 2 but luckily the service provider will give us 2 but only charge the medical aid for one, wow there is still good people out there. I can not keep up with accounts streaming in with the same tune no sorry not covered by your medical aid plan blah blah blah. I upgraded my medical aid as i thought that my daugter was born with this defect and no one knows the effect that this will have so let me upgrade and see where we go.... It looks like my daughter is not any worth for them as they do not understand the frustration this past months has been emotionally, physically for my little Miah and also financially as when she had the set back i was on unpaid leave for 5 weeks.
