ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
I just been on the fedhealth family room and was chatting to agent by the name of brad. I informed this agent that Im on the fedhealth flexi fed 1 option and that every month on the 1st my account gets debited for the previous months payment eg: for January i pay my medical aid and medivault payment on the 1st of February. Seeing as on the 25th of every month I do not have funds available. I went into the fedhealth family room to discuss this seeing as of 2021 my medical aid policy will increase to R1788 from R1721. So i explained in simple english to this agent Brad my December payment has not been made but come 1/01/21 My medical aid still gets debited for R1721 and medivault for R150 seeing as its not January's payment but December's. This guy has no idea as to what Im trying to explain and its a shame that fedhealth employees like this give us the clients the run around. This guy insists in the family room that my December payment will be debited for R1788 instead of R1721. I asked him how is that seeing as its payment for December 2020. He then mentioned he contacted the credit controller who agreed. I knew this was wrong its either Fedhealth is trying to rob they clients or this guy has no training at all. So I called into the call center and a agent by the name of Nowanda assisted me in the Florida gauteng branch and within minutes she agreed with me that my account will be debited for the sum of R1721 for my medical aid and R150 for my medivault payment come January. And that her team leader stated this guy needs to go back into training. How can fedhealth employ individual's who have a system infront of them that can see everything that's listed under our option and still give us wrong advice. I thought the fedhealth family room was to simplify life. But during this week alone I have had endless problems with fedhealth the consultants and the medscheme department based on the option I'm on I have put more than R500 worth of airtime calling these individual's to set everything in the correct order. I suggest they either put the clients needs first or close down as medical scheme altogether if they staff have no clue as to what they doing.
