Abandoned with a life threatening illness, unreliable medical aid, they won’t pay, stay away frim this medical aid you will regret it

I contacted Fedhealth for a network list of specialists and i was forwarded a list of Doctors operating from Unitas Hospital. I went and consulted with the Dr there at Unitas Hospital and due to the nature of my diagnosis i need to be operated on immediately. I lodged an application via the app for a hospital authorization and Fedhealth is refusing to pay for it, instead i am getting text messages telling me that I must pay R15 470 because Unitas is not on their list. Why did they send me a list of unitas doctors knowing the hospital is not in their network. I don’t have that money , So this means I won’t be operated on and they don’t care after i had been a member for so many years

This is a matter of life and death and fedhealth doesn’t care!

Do yourselves a favor never use this medical aid, very reckless and unreliable !
