3months and No Cover???!!!

So I went to the dentist this morning as I had some troublesome teeth. They called and said that I had no cover to have fillings done, and I have to pay cash. Ended up having to have 2 teeth pulled as that was the cheapest option, R1500!!! For 2 teeth, you gotta be kidding me!!!! So I called the call centre and they told me that it comes off my savings, which I was only given a pro-rata savings of R1070 till the end of the year. That was not discussed with me, neither was the fact that dentistry comes off savings!!!! ***!!!!!! So I am out of R1500 and 2 teeth that could have been saved!!! And all I get is a shrug!! This is unacceptable!!!
