3 weeks to ask for tariffs and icd10

I sent in the request to have my son registered as disabled with the scheme.<br> <br> I asked what is required to get him disabled, Abby advised me that we need to send in a care plan and histology report showing the diagnosis (Down Syndrome).<br> <br> I get this together and sent in on 29 October. Following up on a regular basis and I get told that it's with the superior they'll get back to me soon. FIne.<br> <br> Get feedback today and now I (or my doctor, i don't know cause it's emailed to both of us but the email doesn't state who must send it) that you require ICD10 codes, relevant tariff codes, his medical history and what the expected outcome will be.<br> <br> A) You have the ICD10, in fact you had it when the tests were done and for some reason never registered him. Kindly explain the use of ICD10 codes if not to advise what is wrong with a patient?<br> B) Why wasn't this all requested when i asked what was required to register him?<br> C) Who needs to send all this detail?<br> D) Surely you have his medical history, you are his medical aid since birth after all???<br> E) WHY THE HELL DID IT TAKE 3 WEEKS FOR THEM TO ASK ME THIS?!?!? <br>
