3-5 DAYS TURN AROUND TIME

3-5 Working days to add a dependant???

I added my newborn on the 23rd of November, he was born on the 19th of November. I phoned on the 25th to find out what was going on and they didn't even know they had a section on their family room to add a dependant. I was told to email a form which I did.

Today I call in to find out if all is in order as my newborn has an appointment tomorrow- they tell me it takes 3-5 working days to add a dependant... and I would have to wait till Thursday or Friday...

It is the fifth day today. I have been told it will be escalated yet I am still waiting for feedback. I am being spoken to like I am a crazy person.

Why in the world would it take 3-5 days to add a newborn, are they doing background checks? This makes absolutely no sense. It is crazy to say that after my first run in with their incompetency, that I still chose to remain faithful however regardless of how smoothly things go, there is always a hurdle with this medical aid.
