Worst Service, Lack of Communication and Attitude

Disappointed, and doesnt even deserve the 1 star rrating.This is the third order I've had delivered by Fastway Couriers and with each one I've had an issue with delayed tracking information and the cer*****y of when the parcel will get delivered. I had a delivery due today, and I got a call from the driver saying he is outside and I got someone to go collect, and then informed me that the driver cannot be located. Then I tried calling the driver to check where he is, the phone wouldn't go through, just silence, and on third attempt the network operator says the number dialed does not exist. I then called the Fastway Couriers service center and the consultant put me on hold in order to try and reach the driver, the operator then came back to me to say he also cannot get through to the driver and unfortunately much cannot be done other than to make a note of the event. An hour later I called the driver to ask what happened and he said that I took too long to collect, I informed him that he could not be located and asked why he didn't call me back the time he decided he wasn't going to wait any longer as, and that I tried calling him to no avail and went as far as trying to locate him through the service centre also to no avail. I also asked why he cannot make a courtesy call to a client atleast 5 minutes prior to getting to the delivery and he said that is not a part of their rules, also mentioned that if delivery is not picked up in 5 minutes, he leaves straight away and under no obligation to call the client. He further mentioned that, I can escalate Fastway Couriers managers and nothing will be done about this.

I'm very disappointed in the delivery person, their attitude and lack of communication with a client. I have no desire to have future dealings with the company and it's employees.

As things stand, my parcel is still not delivered and I'll probably go another hustle to get it.
