Useless courier company, they should not be in business

I assisted my mom in ordering an item from Mr Price Sport online for delivery to my house. Mr Price dispatched the item on 30 November 2022 and handed over to Fastway Couriers on that day. Since then it indicates everyday that the parcel is in the West Bay (I assume on the West Rand in Johannesburg as I stay in Roodepoort) and that it will be delivered on the next scheduled delivery. It has shown this status everyday since the 1st of December 2022. I called Fastway on Monday the 5th of December and spoke to a consultant who indicated that the parcel was out for delivery on would be delivered that day. Needless to say the parcel was never delivered. I tried to call again on Tuesday the 6th of December 2022 and spent 20 minutes on hold waiting for someone to answer until I simply gave up. I have now gotten in touch with Mr Price via Facebook in order for them to resolve this, but I would like to discourage anyone from using this courier service as they are in a word useless and customer service-less. It should not have to come at the clients expense in time and money to have to follow up on a parcel delivery that should have happened already.
