Unacceptable service- two weeks + for delivery

<p>On 14 June 2016 I sent a parcel from Potchefstroom to Richardsbay via Fastway Couriers. I was told that the parcel would be delivered 17 June 2016 however it was not delivered due to the Thursday being a holiday. I was told that the parcel was supposed to be delivered on Monday 20 June but the delivery truck had a problem and the parcel will be delivered on the Tuesday. Tuesday when phoning Fastway I was told that the driver contacted the receiving person and he did not answer the phone. I phoned the person and he confired that he did not receive any missed calls nor did he receive any unknown calls. Wednesday the parcel was again not delivered due to this according to the couriers. At no time was I phoned about this. Wednesday a consultant assured me that she will make sure the parcel left on Thurday. Again after I enquired I was informed the parcel did not leave the bay and they are unsure why. I asked to speak to a manager and was called later on by a lady whom I thought was the manager but on later enquiry was informed that she was not the manager. She assured me the parcel will be delivered on Monday 27 June 2016 and that she will check the drivers record to make sure he did phone the recipient of the parcel as he said he did. On 27 June 2016 I was again informed that the parcel did not leave the bay. I phoned several times and was told 5 times that I would be phoned back within a certain period, everytime I had to phone back (alot later than I was told I will be phoned). It is 14 days after pick up date and I am being told that the parcel will only be delivered on the 15th day. (If it is even true and there wont be another problem). I have wasted over R200 airtime on this company. The package is no longer needed by the other person. The reason why I used a courier service is to get the parcel there quick, I could have just s well used speed post. This is terrible service to say the least and I will never advice anyone to use this service. </p>
