Terrible service - DO NOT use this Courier service

Sent a small parcel to a customer in Saxonwold on Thurs 12th for delivery on Fr 13th....Customer called at 18:00 on Friday 13th to say that she had not received the parcel. By Sat 14th at 09:44 parcel still not yet delivered. On Monday at at 08:13 we called fastway to find out what had happened to this delivery - we were promised delivery by 10:00. By 13:47 the delivery had still not been delivered. When we called again we were guaranteed delivery by 16:00, at 16:06 the delivery was still not made. Spoke to Mpumi who guaranteed that the delivery would be made by 7pm that evening, and that he had called the Customer to advise her that the parcel would be delivered that evening. He also admitted that the courier was "lying" about having gone the address in Saxonwold but no-one was there to receive the parcel - the Security personnel at the gate are there 24 hours of every day and do receive other parcels. This morning (17th Oct) we called Fastway again - the parcel has still not been delivered!!!!! We asked for someone in Management to call us to solve this problem....during this time I checked Hello Peter and was (not surprisingly) shocked at the amount of poor comments about Fastway - none of which have even been responded to!!!!!

Eventually "Jimmy" phoned us - sadly he didn't know any of the details relating to this poor service - clearly he hadn't bothered to fami****ise himself with any of the details!!!

I will finish the satchels I have purchased from them and find another Courier service.
