Rude and unprofessional number

How can a driver says your delivery address is too far he cant go there so you must find a way to meet him halfway,yet you paid full courier fee and previous drivers did not have an issue to come to your door step. That is what I experienced yesterday from one of Fastway drivers I could not even get his name but he is from Gansbaai and was delivering my perfumes package in Kleinmond. Whats confusing is that he had a nerve to tell me that he will start doing deliveries in neighbouring towns further away from me and come back later to me and I must make a way to meet him halfway😡.
