REVIEW AS A BUSINESS OWNER WHO USED FASTWAY AS A COURIER PROVIDER

Sharing this review as a business owner who used fastway couriers as a courier provider for 2 years & hoping this review will assist other business owners who would like to use them as a courier provider to make an informed decision.

I initially switched to fastway couriers due to their delivery rates being very competitive in comparison to other courier companies , I recently had a issue which forced me to turn away from them despite other concerns I have had in the past . About two weeks ago I had made a payment on their online system to credit my courier account the system glitched and kicked me out just as the payment went through . I immediately contacted the accounts department and provided the proof of payment to which their response was that they haven't received the payment . I thought that their might have been an issue on my side and had some urgent orders that needed to be fulfilled and decided to credit my account via the online system again and the same issue occurred , I then contacted my bank to verify that both payments went through and their was no issue on my side I contacted accounts again and my sales rep , once again provided all the proof of payments it then took them another week to verify that they received payments and eventually they did credit my account for one payment only . I am still awaiting for the credit to be loaded for the initial payment I had made it has now been almost a month . They have taken my money and not accounted for it .

I have made the decision to move over to another courier provider (Bobgo) which I would highly recommend to my fellow business owners .

other cons about fastway :

- You have to contact the drivers yourself to arrange for pick up of orders ( with other courier companies they alert the driver on behalf of you ) - During peak seasons be prepared to beg and bribe drivers to come by and collect your parcels -Delivery is delayed & communication is non existent unless you have direct contact to a staff member or you are a high volume sender - Their overall system is dated and behind
