Pathetic Service! Not delivering when scheduled

I'm extremely disappointed with Fastway. Yesterday morning (December 7th), I received a notification stating that my package would be delivered by the end of the day (Ref number: Z***). However, they didn't show up. I've called them twice today to ensure the delivery will take place today, especially because it contains a gift for a birthday party I'm attending tomorrow morning. Despite their assurances (the lady I spoke to "phoned the driver who confirmed he will be delivering today" , the package didn't arrive, forcing me to buy an alternative gift. Why send an email promising delivery if they don't intend to fulfil it? This isn't the first time this has occurred with Fastway; there's always an issue. Unlike RAM or Courier Guy, who consistently deliver on the scheduled day, Fastway's service is consistently disappointing. It's frustrating to see I'm not alone in facing these problems. While I understand December is a busy time, making empty promises to customers is unacceptable.
