Pathetic Service!

I had a parcel that was booked for collection last week Thursday(12th) September 2024. The parcel was only picked up on the 16th September, and it arrived in EL depot on Wednesday(18th September) and I have been on constant call with them trying to know when will it be delivered in Alice which was the destination, and they alerted me that it's with the third party which is Intertown transport couriers, that was after several calls to them. The lady who was assisting me at East London branch(Fastway) said yesterday(19th September) the parcel was out on delivery which was great news because the parcel was needed for Saturday(21st September) She said I must wait for the call from Intertown transport couriers driver, I waited the whole of yesterday without any call from any driver.

I then called again this morning(20th September) the ladies who were receiving my calls, because I learned that it was more than one lady helping me, after been put on hold by both of them for more than 2 minutes gave me a number for Intertown transport couriers Fort Beaufort branch which was not useful as it kept on saying "The inbox is full" I had to actually ask them if the third party company is "Intertown " because they kept referring to them as "Third party company" after they agreed it's them indeed(Intertown) because I had notified them that the number is not going through, and they said I must keep trying, it does happen. I decided to search on Google for Intertown transport couriers Fort Beaufort branch, and I found another number, gave it a try and the gentlemen who was receiving the call didn't even formally answer the phone, I was even not sure at first if it's the courier company I almost hung up, I said to him I think I am calling a wrong number, and then asked if it's Intertown transport couriers Fort Beaufort? He then rep**** "Yes" I must say the guy has no telephone etiquette, non whatsoever...he switched to native language(IsiXhosa) and asked my name I rep**** with it, and he said yes the parcel is there in Fort Beaufort, I narrated the story to him about the parcel and it being supposed to be delivered yesterday, and to my suprise he said the parcel only arrived in Fort Beaufort this morning( 20th September) and they only do my area on Tuesdays and Thursdays...mind you I need the parcel for the 21st September.

So I asked isn't there another way I can be able to get the parcel today? And explained to him the urgency of me receiving it today, and he said no, I then told him I am going to come or send someone because I am in East London to their office and get it myself. Poor! Poor service. The parcel took exactly 7 full day to actually arrive at the destination depot/branch. And still another full day with them(Monday) they could actually deliver to my address. Not impressed at all.
